Excessive oil leaks that appear to be front of engine ( not from cotter key hole) any easy fix, I plan to increase viscosity ( 20/50) and I put on a new breather, should I put on a PCV ?open to suggestions,37 cabriolet is 98 % original open to suggestions

Cover your distributor with saran wrap and give your engine a bath, then get back to us with exact location and amount of leakage. 20/50 sounds good in any case.

Maybe start by tightening the bolts on the oil pan, timing gear cover, distributor, etc. and see if that makes any difference.

I would not recommend pcv . The 37 uses no rear seal so youd be sucking dust from the clutch area using a pvc
