After searching this site and others relentlessly for weeks, I finally became confident enough to make a run at ordering all the parts. Here are some pics for reference. They are just mocked up for now. Please feel free to comment if something looks wrong. There was some guesswork involved. 😆 But, as a lot of things go. It doesn’t look as complicated as I made it out to be.
Thanks for all the help. |

Theoretically, yes, as there are no parts in the August, 1934 body parts catalog for anything other than a roll-down window.
My '33 4-cyliner coupe has one. |

I'm certainly no expert on the older Fords, but that sure looks like First Class work to me.

Given the size of the photos, i can't tell if you have the lipped rubber channel that the glass fits into before fitting into the steel channel. Other than that, it looks to be all there, assuming that you have the steel drain pan that fits beneath the window.

I always thought that only rumble seat cars had the wind down window to facilitate talking to rumble seat passengers. Am I wrong?????

Trunk 5-W also had the roll down window. The open window does aid in ventilation.

Thank you. You are correct. That rubber is missing. I’ve got it ordered. I have the oem drip pan that is being repaired.

I ordered a glass channel from vintique which is shorter and the slider/runner is not bevelled / folded the correct way for the regulator arm to run properly. May i ask which company your glass channel is made by and whom you ordered it from? I opened a thread regarding my issue. Regards Randolf |
