Re: Leaf Spring Question

The sleeve is not a separate item. It is an assembly with the stud and bushing.

Re: How many of you are doing total restorations?

I'm sure there are those of us that would do the first, but have decided to settle for the latter given the ever decreasing availability and increasing cost of useable parts (both OE and...

Re: Early V8 Garage, Rich Lacy Master cyl. Conv. Kit

My mistake. I must have gotten confused by some of the other posts.

Does Rich's post help at all? Dennis may have some more of the '35 kit on his Instagram if you go back further in time.

Re: Early V8 Garage, Rich Lacy Master cyl. Conv. Kit

I must be one of the lucky ones who's been able to get a hold of Dennis via Instagram.

I'd think one should be able to piece together how the kit is assembled from the various photos of it that've...

Re: 33-34 Sedan top extrusion

I'm in the same boat, unfortunately - in need of either OEM or aftermarket pieces.

Re: 33/34PU/Victoria New gas tanks???

Yep, the Drake tank is more correct in the stamping elsewhere on the tank, too. Not really a big deal if you aren't concerned about visible authenticity, though.

Drake:...

Re: 1933 ford pu gas tank

That only applies to the Model T and A. The later years placed the tank elsewhere.

The V8 era cars aren't gravity feed; they rely on a mechanical fuel pump that's mounted at the rear of the...

1933-1934 Floor Board Pieces

Can anyone provide some photos and dimensions/sketches of the following two pieces for the forward floor board on the '33-34 passenger cars?

WTB: 1933 Radiator Cap

Looking for a 1933 passenger car radiator cap. Can be a nicer quality reproduction or an original, but needs to be in good shape and not pitted or in need of replating.

Re: Two two barrel 94 setup

There are a few threads on the HAMB that discuss how to set up dual 94s. One fella who has fairly detailed instructions doesn't recommend plugging the power valves.

Here's one of the threads:...

Re: Sheet metal sources suggestions

It seems like the quality and fitment of Howell's parts can really vary. It'd be nice if they indicated which are ones they produce and for which they are merely resellers. That might give some...

This thread is a couple of weeks old now, but I can state that attempting to set up a new multi-vehicle policy with Grundy has been a pain in the ***. Between their barely functional website and...

Re: Critique this '34

Aren't the rumble seat cars supposed to have a cloth circular cover over the rear axle rather than a steel cover? It appears both these cars have steel covers.

Re: Try YRC Freight For Nationwide Parts Shipping

Consolidated Freightways is now Con-Way through a convoluted set of splits and spin-offs. A separate company not under the YRC umbrella.

Re: 1929 model A model 180 on ebay????????

It also appears to have the '30 design of fenders and splash aprons. So, clearly it's a pieced together car; probably from whatever the assembler had on hand or could easily obtain at the time.

Re: Advice please - flathead - worth saving?

It looks to me like only the intake valve at cylinder #1 has had a replacement seat installed. Like B&S, I don't see any sleeves in the cylinders.

I have a not 100% correctly restored '33 Victoria that's missing some seat related hardware for both the front and rear seats. It is a right hand drive car.

I did purchase some various books...
