Sometime it help to know what state you reside in?

I fixed the VIN on and old hand me down classic, With the help of a VIN verifier and the AAA DMV.

My 57, 61 have frame stamps. On the passenger side near or above the A-arm. I'd you dont see the whole thing. You might have to wide brush a little.

If you are in CA. Find the two VINs that match.
Have a statement of facts ( this stated who what where you got the car from) and a bill of sale from a family member. And have the car title fixed...

if its ram style PS at the bottom on both the pump should be OK to update.

I have had the PS nightmare on another build but found a modern R&P Ford pump that is lower PSI and works- so far:D

You might be talking about a color bar. They mounted under the dash and moved with the music. The lowrider crowd started repopping them and use them now too.

Well an update. I started by running vinegar in the system after removing the coolant. I figure a few days would help with cleaning.
Then a flushed and removed the thermostat. And added water...

To removed the rear view mirror you have to remove the trim around it, so the sun visors and the long trim between the mirrro and the sunvisor
