Yes the 2GC works very well in this application. The trick here is to adjust the timing and carb for best AF readungs, It shouls run in the upper14's low 15's milling the heads or increasing the CR...

I don't think the charge over the piston is immportant. It should be in the combustion chamber with the spark plug.

8*ba guide shorted .125" This aluminum addition to the guide is to shape the flow of AF out of the bowl The port id shaped to provide a limier flow of AF ann not size. Haven't flow cheked it yet.

B&S has some good advice, I also found that some of the adapters had alot of runout. I wouldn't except more than .004", Remembet it drives the distributor/
