You can take the truck and you will have a new truck for the cost of the taxes which isn't a bad deal or you can take the cash, pay the tax and still have a couple of pockets full of cash to go out...

I have never failed to get them off with a big hammer. Might need to put the sway bar in a vice to get a solid hit on it, after removing the end attached to the axle.
