if careful you can run a stromberg without the top section i engrave a mark inside the fuel bowl at 1/2" below the gasket face this allows me to see exactly what the fuel level is when running also...

cooling systems seem to be ok in cooler climates as owners in tasmania dont report any problems it only seem to be where you get the wider swings between summer and winter that this problem raises it...

yeh its true its only 3/16 approx they dont wear that quick and dont need boosters if their set up correctly, drums will take a fairly heavy o/size cut without much drama as the actual drum...
