Re: Stretch’s 36’ 3W Coupe build
Acme is a very old company and have probably been around since the 50's. Never heard any negatives on them. Right now they are probably the only game in the hobby.

Re: Bucket seats for 50 Ford
I just got a set of those for my '40 tudor. We travel with a small dog and I wanted to keep the seats clean. The quality of the material is very good and the fit was also good. I am happy with the...

Re: '41 PU Rear Window
Page 43 of the V-8 Club's '40-'41 pickup book has the full details on the sliding rear window. There were two types and the windows carried through the '47 year.

Re: Ballast resistor for 12V coil
Chevrolet used ballast resistors for years on their ignitions. You might check to see what the ohm readings are for those resistors.

Re: Flathead Machine Shop-Utah
If you are a V-8 Club member check your roster for people in your area and I'm sure they can refer you to a reputable shop. It's one of the advantages of belonging to the club.

Re: Car transport
Tim, my first early V-8 in 1974 was one just like that 33. Same color with the original upholstery. Brought back a lot of memories. Those old "moredoors" are the best touring cars.

Re: Door Handle pulls out
In addition to all the good advice, you may hear a rattle in your door as some of the broken pieces have probably fallen to the bottom of the door.
