Good advice, plus use brake cylinder lubricant, to lube the end of the tubing as it is being flared. If someone doesn't post a photo of it or the name, I will tomorrow.

Thank you Mike. You are right, I have seen those listings, like the Monroe shock. The local parts store has been here for years, and just jumped on to the NAPA bandwagon when the 2 owners bailed...

Rear brake hose 91A -2078
We have an odd application for a rear brake with the same two female ends for the 1/4 tube size inverted flare fitting, 7/16-24 thread. We need a hose about 12 -13" long, vs the stock 91A-2078, 3/4"....

A lot of sage advice here. I would place a wanted ad for an F1 box. There are still some out there. Having built a '29 high boy roadster on '32 rails with F1 steering there is probably no easier way...

I would likely by using some 16" Kelsey- Hayes bent spoke wires as I have 5 real nice ones.

Using the Purolater Facet electric fuel pump eliminates the need for a regulator as it is solid state and is self regulating to the design pressure you purchase. Also, Teflon tape on fuel line...

This was another weird one with rain off & on set up day Monday Tuesday pretty much rained out, Wed. some rain in the AM, good in the afternoon when the buyers emerged, and Thurs. was sunny and hot....
