Rain Gutters 31' Coupe When I restored my coupe the rain gutter were quite rusted. Since I could not get them off I used bondo and sanded the smooth
Here twenty years later the rust has come back and I would like to take them completely off this time Are there screws holding them on, or are that tack welded on. |
Re: Rain Gutters 31' Coupe Spot welded. You really need to get to the back side….or at least that’s the way I work them

Re: Rain Gutters 31' Coupe Eventually, that is a task I am going to have to tackle, as mine were missing when I restored my coupe. I used aluminium extrusions, attached with small screws, that were countersunk, then filled over with bog. After many years some of the filler is starting to pop. When I replace them it will be with something more authentic.

Re: Rain Gutters 31' Coupe Just spotted these on ebay. They look better than anything else I have seen. https://www.ebay.com/itm/23670235101...Bk9SR8rR-fe6Zw

Re: Rain Gutters 31' Coupe I’m agreed they do look good! And steel not aluminum
Priced well! Worth a risk to look see at that price. I might buy couple of pair for stock. Parts go away really quickly these days Whoa! Only two sets available! Jump! |
Re: Rain Gutters 31' Coupe So on the 31' Coupe, should I grind the rain gutters off and start from scratch
