1947 Pickup parking brake routing

Would someone be able to post a photo showing the routing of the parking brake cable on a '47 pickup on the inside of the cab and where it goes out of the cab please?

This is helpful, however I also need to know where the cable exits the cab.

i hear ya, but i don't know for sure where it exits on a truck. i've been down this road on my '41 super deluxe and this is the best i've got...

the cable eventually goes through a hole in the toe board of my '41 super deluxe. and i assume it does something similar in the truck. in my car the hole is also used for the speedometer cable IIRC. and uses a fancy double holed rubber grommet in that hole. one for each cable...but because there was no way that i was going to remove the speedometer cable, which i would have had to do, to get the e-brake cable through that toe board, i simply drilled a second hole! it is a much more accessible hole near it, and ran my e-brake cable through that. sounds drastic doesn't it! well...it's been a while now, and i'm still very satisfied with my decision. :)

for no particularly good reason, here's a pic of the fancy double grommet i mentioned. and notice the two holes are not the same size! so if you have a similar arrangement, don't dare put the speedometer cable through the e-brake hole, or there will be dire consequences in the afterlife. :)

Seth, to answer your actual question, you know, about a truck, here's a photo that shows where it comes out of the cab. I can't at this moment find one from the inside. If my memory is correct, it comes out near the steering column.
I'll try to get a new photo asap.

Kube,

That is helpful. I will look and see if I can locate that spot. Much of what I'm putting together I did not take apart. So, I appreciate all the help!

Cable exits the cab just under the steering column, over the top of the bellhousing, to a clamp bolted to the top of the crossmember, on the passenger side.
