Need some help on ID for these Model T aprons, Thanks

Re: Need some help on ID for these Model T aprons Looks like 1917-1925 touring/roadster splash aprons. Desirable and better than the reproductions.

Re: Need some help on ID for these Model T aprons These splash shields fit a 1915-1916 Ford. There is no hole in the apron for the speedometer cable. I hope this helps, Russ Furstnow

Re: Need some help on ID for these Model T aprons I seem to remember that those last brass cars only had one short cut out on the top inside edge. The ones above have the long one and the shorter cut out in the top edge.
Speedometers were more of an option in the early years. The other thing I'd like to mention is that there were a lot of reproduction parts made over the many years since production ceased. I've seen reproduction parts with the same patina as those. They may very well be original but there has been a lot of water under the bridge in 100+ years since. |
Re: Need some help on ID for these Model T aprons My vote is 17-25 based on the two holes at the back. There is a wide hem on the back side to tie into the crowned fender.
