There was a "past" post here on the "Barn" about the positioning of the "V8" on 33's and 34's......The long and the short on 33's was it was positioned very very close to the top/grill surround like pictured (perhaps what is pictured is "a slight bit closer than the norm BUT it is within the "generally" accepted location) as compared to 1934.

Here is an Argentinian 33 and awfully fine 33 Tudor and an Victoria ALL with the V8 Placement consistent with the Rouge Photo.
