1941 convertible frame question
 

What is the difference between a 1941 and 1940 frame.i was looking at a mustang 2 kit and 1937 tp 1940 is one and 1941 to 1948 is another.

Use the 41-48 one. 37-40 is a different frame.

Do some research on the mustang ll conversion first. I have no experience with it, but have read that it is no longer in favor.

The 41 -48 cars were a good riding car due to the longer springs. If it was me I would put in a dropped axle, a Posie front spring, and disc brakes on the stock spindles. The problem with the Mustang II it will cover up the frame ID#. If you got stopped by law enforcement and they wanted to check the ID# you could have a real problem. Keep it simple.
