8BA head gasket choice

Deck and heads are freshly milled. Have two choices, best gasket copper and best gasket graph tite. I like the looks of the copper, but also like the thought of being able to take the head off without breaking out a crowbar. Thoughts on best all around approach- good seal but also removable?

I just put grease on the graph tite gasket and heads come right off, NEVER will use copper cote spray again what a glued up mess.

I agree. If your heads leak after the installation of name brand gaskets and grease, there is a problem with the surface prep. I found out the hard way when I was young.

I also don't like copper gaskets, especially with aluminum heads. I just introduces another metal into an already complicated galvanic soup.

I have used Fel-Pro gaskets in two builds with no problems.
