Hello friends,
I’m trying to identify this gasket on a 39 Ford Coupe Deluxe that appears to be leaking fuel.

Look up under the fuel pump with a mirror —- most likely the fuel pump diaphragm is leaking. Even for those gaskets are leaking fuel instead of oil the diaphragm would have to be leaking.

After careful examination, gas is coming out of this little hole in the fuel pump. In the 2nd picture, one of the screws appears to be stripped. Can’t find the part anywhere. The oil cap screws into the top and fuel pump is mounted on the side.

For a temporary fix, get a longer screw and a nut.

Gas leaking out the small vent hole is an indication the pump diaphragm is beginning to leak.
