Master Cylinder Banjo Bolt sealant ? Installed new copper washers on the Banjo bolt and after bleeding brakes, I have a very slight weep - I got it pretty darn tight - should I disassemble & replace the washers and use a sealant of some type ?

Re: Master Cylinder Banjo Bolt sealant ? Try taking a small sharp bastard file and giving it a few strokes across the sealing surface on the master cylinder. This has been discussed here recently.

Re: Master Cylinder Banjo Bolt sealant ? annealing the copper washers should solve the problem, softening them, heat them red hot, submerge in cold water, be careful don't distort them, and re install......

Re: Master Cylinder Banjo Bolt sealant ? make sure the brass fitting surfaces are flat and parallel it may have crushed in if some one has over tightened the bolt previously small amounts can be filed out but often they need to be replaced with the master

Re: Master Cylinder Banjo Bolt sealant ? As Mart noted, there is never any sealant of any type used with brake lines and associated components. Everything uses some sort of "crush" or "compression" type fit - whether it be a washer, the end of the tube/flare, etc..
