George "Skip" Haney Water pumps

Just got a set of rebuilt Skip water pumps. The job is professional looking and response time was great. George is certainly an asset to the flathead community. Thanks again for a great job

I second this comment. Skip also did good work on the water pumps for my '36 coupe! Scott

2 sets of pumps and one coil. They work! And if you are ever in Florida it is a great shop to visit. If GM is "hanging around" you are in for a treat viewing his Fords. John

If you got a flathead you gotta get his pumps. Even Henry would approve.

Re: George "Skip" Haney Water pumps

Skip also markets an overflow pipe valve. It keeps water from being thrown out the overflow pipe on trips, etc. My '35 was bad about getting hot, being that the water would keep getting lower, the longer I drove it. Now, with his pumps and valve, I have no heating problems at all.
MIKE :)

I just received my set of Skip Haney rebuilt '37-'48 Ford water pumps as well. I mailed these to Skip Monday before last, May 17, Priority Mail, Flat Rate Box and received them back yesterday, Monday, May 24th. He did an absolute beautiful job on these pumps. See pictures attached. And guess what......they fit my 59ab engine perfectly. No need to worry about holes not being cast or reamed correctly because they are the original 78-_ _ _ _ pn, made in the USA pump housings, and not the alternative made in China versions that are being sold by all the big, well known vendors. They will also cool the engine better than the original pumps and are guaranteed for 5 years or more. They came with two new gaskets and an instruction sheet on how/what to do to get max cooling from these high flow water pumps. What more could you ask for and where else would you get this kind of service or turn around time? If you need water pumps for your Flathead, do yourself a favor and send your old cores to Skip for a rebuild. You will not be sorry you did. JM

He rebuilt my coil and set the rebuilt distributor I already had. Started the car for the first time last night after installing the parts and it fired right up. I'm looking forward to a summer where the car will start when it's hot.

Just wondering if you also rebuilt the water pump on that Model A powered saw mill. that you frequently mentioned on the old Fordbarn, that always over heated? I don't think Skip rebuilds model A pumps or I would recommend sending that one to him for rebuild along with a set of your '36 pumps. JM
