Carb gasket wicking gas
 

I recently had my Holley 94 double barrel carb rebuilt. Seems to be working fine. I have noticed that the upper gasket is damp with gas, more toward the front above the bowl than the rear of the carb. I have made sure that the bolts are tight. Anyone seen this? Is the a fix? The shop that did the rebuild has been doing these carbs for years. I will be in touch with them. Anyone want to weigh in.

Float setting may be a bit high.

Could be the top was not tightened evenly at some point in time warping the top.

After you find out why you have such an abundance of gasolene, apply a thin layer of this to both sides of your gasket. Buy the tube.

Fuel lube is good for radiator and gas cap gaskets also. Makes them easier to turn.
