- Car guy from the old days. Dad owned a wrecking yard until I was 14 ..it was my playground! Then he opened his own garage. I started working for him at the age of 15. At age 16 started my love for Fords with a 1937 Ford Delivery Sedan. Cut my teeth on Flaties and then onto the built Y Block 312s which I had in a little 54 Ford 2 door post. I got it to run really fast for its time and place. Think the 351 Cleveland's were my favorites though. Gave up working as a mechanic in 1985 went to school and became an Xray tech until I retired. Although I dont twist as many wrenches anymore I still am a Ford Lover and still have a deep interest in all things related to working on them. I have started thinking about building a hot Flat head again....see if it can match the one I built in 1962/63.
