- I hounded my dad to buy an old car when I was 14-15 years old. In June 1972 he bought a complete, clean, running, unrestored 1929 Model A standard coupe for $700. I still have it today. The next year in my junior year in high school I bought a 1949 Ford F1 pickup for $57. Still have that today too!
