    Biography
I have a 1936 Ford convertible sedan that my dad found with no engine or trans, and a smashed right side, in 1950. He already had a red(painted apparently with a fire hose) 1935 four door convertible sedan. Everything was red; the seats, bumpers, grill, wheels, tires. It had a plywood top and samsonite folding chairs bolted to the origional seat frames. It also had real floor boards; 1x4s bolted to the frame. That car provided the passenger door for the 36. He put it back on the road-five different colors, in 1953. He drove it over 100,000 miles during the 1950s and 1960s. He added a Columbia two speed rear in 1954. It was parked in the mid 60's, and frame off restored 1980-1990. He died of pancreatic cancer at age 60 three years later. I have been taking care of it since.
