- worked for 30 years for the same company and retired. I now volunteer for the Sheriff Dept. I am the vice Pres of High Desert Fords and Mustangs and own and have owned several Mustangs and other Fords. I have built a 289 Ford that I had in a convertible Mustang, a 428 SCJ that was in a Mach 1 1969, a 302 that was in a 1967 half cab bronco, a 428 cobra Jet in a 68 GT 500 KR Shelby.
