- Have been interested in hot-rodding since my early teens in Northern New Jersey, first car was a 48 Ford sedan at age sixteen. I raced several cars in Modified Production in the early sixties. I was never really competitive, but I was learning quickly and enjoying the comradery of a bunch of drag race/gearhead buddies. Uncle Sam put an end to that for me in 1965.
