- Born/raised in Iowa. Retired after 23 yrs in US Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer, specializing in ship repair and floating dry docks.
'77 to '96 worked in ship repair and light industry and manufacturing.
Fully Retired but still very busy with my own large capacity machine and metal fabrication shop, mostly to support my many and varied hobbies. The last time I counted, I had 2 large boats, and 18 cars/trucks.
Three married sons and seven grandsons.
