- Native Texan, 6th Generation Texan with a family history famous for Education (Started TCU & other Colleges) and Medicine (Grandfather was founding President of MD Anderson Hospital). Have been involved in shooting all my life, Jr. Marksman NRA in 1960's. Father had several old large Ford trucks, 42 COE (2), 51 Ford 2 ton dump stake bed (2). I was fortunate to learn early on how to rebuild the great flathead V8, and helped restore several old Fords, including 66, 67 Mustangs. Grandfather had several thousand acres of land in Rosanky, Tx, where I had a first year Bronco that proved to be the best 4x4 in the ravines and tough terrain out there. You just can not beat a Ford. and as they say, "it's not a Hot Rod unless it has a flathead in it"!!
