- My Dad bought me my first flathead v8 when I was 10 years old for $7.00. I was in love with them ever since. I have down sized some but still have close to 20 flatheads sitting in my pole barn and 2 in process of rebuilding. One of them will be supercharged with McCulloch VS57. My very first attempt at souping up a flathead.
