- New to the site. Born raised in California and wife and I moved to North Carolina 7 years ago. Army Vietnam Vet-68-69- Combat Infantry. Love Ford flatheads. Was crew chief of record setting 59 a block flatty carbureted on gas at Bonneville August 2006 @ 135.004 Car #234 V-A-C-GAS and for several years following building on that record. THE BEST TIME I EVER HAD BY MYSELF. Currently problem solving a miss in my 40 coupe 221 motor.
