- Started with a 31 Model A roadster in 1948. Rebuilt that into a hotrod. Sold it in 52, bought a 6-wheel 31 A convertible. Sold that in 54 and bought a 31 A Sport Coupe. Left convertible & coupe stock except for installing hydraulic brakes. Used these as daily drivers for over 100,000 miles. Sold the last Model A in 1963. Also owned and rebuilt a 37 supercharged Cord 812 SC and a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS. Kept the last car for 50 years. Trained as an engineer but learned welding and machining and do/did all of my own work.
