- Restoring my dad's (early)1930 Canadian Model A Coupe. He bought it for $98 in Windsor, Canada in 1958. He finished restoring the car in the mid 70's and then decided to park the car in my brother's barn for a few years so it could free up some space in his garage. My father passed in 1990 before he could bring the car back to his garage. My mother had no interest in the car so the car remained 31 years in my brother's barn till probate court gave the car to me. I received it November 7, 2009 and I couldn't be happier! We joined M.A.R.C. and a local M.A.R.C. chapter where we found lots of information and help in the restoration. Lots of friends, too! This is the first car my husband ever restored and he is doing a fabulous job! We are doing a complete off-the-frame restoration as the car was in horrible shape when we received it. My dad would be proud and happy that someone loves his car as much as he did!
