Default WTB 1957-61 Ford truck 4 spd bellhousing

City: Defiance
State: OH

Pieces before '57 wont work (no holes for clutch slave cylinder) 62-64 takes different starter. Contrary to some beliefs, 3 & 4 speed b/h are diifferent. E-mail: [email protected]

This is needed for a Y block V8 by the way.

I have a bellhousing with the number TBAB7505 that I think is the bell you are looking for. I would take $50 plus shipping. Shipping from Tennessee may be cost prohibitive. If you are interested, I'll check shipping costs. Thanks.

hoss73,

You are right on target with shipping costs. It looks like the best rates are at USPS at about $36. I looked at the bell housing again and it looks like there should be a flywheel cover that bolts to the bottom of the bell. I don't have such a cover. Let me know if you still want the bell without the cover. If you want, you can send me a private message and I will send my phone number if you want to talk. Thanks.

the cover is no biggy. I think mechanics must have thrown them away or something, just as long as it is a 4 speed and has the 2 small bolt holes on the upper left corner for the clutch slave cylinder. My email is in my original message. thanks,,,,,Mark

I don't see any holes for the slave cylinder. This bellhousing was on a 292 that I bought out of a '57 F100. he guy I bought it from pulled the engine. Did some '57's have clutch rod linkage?
