Correct wiper motor
Just a quick question. I recently purchased a 1930 Model A Tudor and Itcame with a hand operated wiper. What is the correct wiper motor for this car ? As far is I can tell by the engine block number it dates 06/1930. Thanks in advance.

Re: Correct wiper motor
I purchased a trico vacuum wiper motor for mine on ebay. You also have to run a vacuum hose to it which I found at Mac's..

Re: Correct wiper motor
a vacuum wiper is the proper thing.. do you have the vac line from the manifold in place to the firewall then from inside the firewall it runs up the a pillar to the top of the w/shield. from there a rubber hose connects it across the wshield to the motor
if the lines are present it might be plugged off.... if not youll need them to convert it back to original if you so desire Last edited by Mitch//pa; 06-21-2015 at 05:41 PM. |

Re: Correct wiper motor
Clean and paint a vacuum wiper, put some authentic looking tubing from your wiper to the hole in the windshield frame. install a new, correct wiper blade and get some RainEx. You won't need a wiper.

Re: Correct wiper motor
No need for a wiper unless your car is inspected by any authorities public or private.
