Default Nice item for your Garage

I've seen the pictures of some of the great looking "garage and showrooms" that some of you have and here would be a great showpiece and addition.
Auction no. 390387173763. A period Champion plug cleaner... no, it's not mine. Wish it was.

Looks nice to me, but abit overpriced IMHO. I am in the proccess of selling things like this off, so definately not going to be a bidder on this. Rod

Guess I need to clean mine up and sell it. Except for the name it appears to be the same model.

I have the same spark plug machine and $100 would buy mine.

I can remember riding my bike down to the local garage in 1958 to clean the plugs in my recently acquired 29 sport coupe ($100), for free!!

I wish the gas stations had never gone away from SERVICE STATIONS and became food stops. Those good old days weren't that long ago when you could actually hang out and fix things. I worked at one just before going into the Army, but 3 years later when I got out most had changed over to food shops.

My experience is they changed back to where they started. In the small town where I spent my early childhood the two grocery stores had added a visible pump and you could buy gas. They also had bottles of oil but little else for cars.

My grandmother had a general store in Normanna, TX with a gas pump out front at least to the early '60's, so I see what you are saying.
