Default another vacuum wiper question

When the vacuum wiper is shut off, is the blade supposed to stop at the right side of its arc, or on the left?
Mine stops on the right where I find it distracting. If its supposed to stop on the left, how do you change it?
Thanks!

Mine stops on the right, all the way up, and out of the way.

I'm wondering if it depends on the model.

31' Roadster = stops on left.

Left side facing... or sitting in the car? In studying original sales photos you will see the wiper in varying positions, but mostly in the left side position (as seated looking out) to keep the center area clear and unobstructed. may depend on the model.

Mine parks on the right while sitting in the car. However, my Trico wiper is not original. As best I can determine it is a repro from the late 40's.

I believe left-side is commonly referred to as the drivers' side.

Mine is on the left as viewed on the avatar photo.

Perhaps closed cars are on the right because of inside wiper motor mounts?

I will be checking this out on upcoming tours.
