Inaugural 2024 Bakersfield Prewar Swap Meet Was A Success !
Vendor set up was Friday May 3rd
all day with brisk vendor to vendor sales - public was allowed to walk in after vendors drove in & started set up from 9 am to 9 pm. Large HCCA Turnout Venue is HUGE All spaces on smooth asphalt Private owners just renewed 20 year lease and are open to suggestion on improving Bakersfield Prewar Swap Meet ! I'd love to attend that someday. Hard to imagine a swap meet where you don't have to wade through acres of muscle car stuff to find a needed flathead part. Been a cold spring up here in the PNW, might be an excuse to go next year.

Looks like a great meet. Something needed to take the place of the old San Diego swap meet since it went away a few years ago.

I drove by Bakersfield via the 99 to visit my daughter in Merced, its a shame I didn't have time to stop and check it out, hopefully next year....
