pop up ads
Lately when I open the fordbarn site I have been getting a pop up ad for various items. Have I been hacked or is fordbarn allowing these now. I never open them.

Re: pop up ads
The only time I see pop up ads is when I am not logged in to Ford Barn, but just perusing.

Re: pop up ads
If you are not logged on there are ads. You can get an application to put on your computer or change a setting to stop all pop up ads. You can also use a private window on your browser that will stop all ads of any kind.

I use Firefox web browser and use AdBlock plus. If you use Firefox you can get it here with free download:

Firefox has a lot of security features that are not found on other browsers. It will stop me from opening a site if there is a tracker that will open or if the site does not have proper authentication. The browser is free. See https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ I can elect to bypass the security features if I want to. This is useful if I know the site is not detrimental and I have to open it for some reason.

Re: pop up ads
I choose to stay logged on to the Ford Barn. That avoids any of the pop-up ads.

I love Go Duck Go Browser. It blocks a lot of ads and tracking... Chap
