Default Need cowl band info

Would my 1931 Model A Roadster Pickup have come with a painted cowl band like closed AA trucks of stainless originally?

Thanks,
Dave

I think it would originally have used a painted steel cowl band, not stainless. A stainless band could be painted to look more original.

Page 15-5 of the judging standards says painted body color. That was what I remembered but I double checked the standards.

Thanks guys! My pickup currently has none at all but I have found a usable painted one. I will clean it up and use it.
Thanks again,
Dave
