Default Traveller Wagon / Natural wood deliveries

Back in, if I recall right, just 1930 Ford made in very limited quantities a Wood bodied delivery and in even fewer numbers a sort of camper. Does anyone know how many of both are left and if there are any plans available with which someone could build these bodies or even replicate the traveller wagon?
Thanks Justin

Not sure this is exactly what you are looking for but maybe a start.

Here are a couple of links from previous discussions you might find more from a search of the fordbarn.

Here is an original Woody Delivery. I saw it at an auction site, and I don't remember which one.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That Delivery was part of the Swigert collection that was on display at Hershey about 5-6 years ago. I found the remains of one at the town dump in the mid 1960's. Just last year I sold the roll up drivers door window regulator to the owner of an original. He said there are six "real" ones out there and a fair amount of replicas. Bob

Continued search for existing original 255A Special Deliveries produced a couple more. A few others were located and passed off as originals but with further questioning they were not original. More may come out of hiding but the number will no doubt remain small.

Does any other body style share the window regulators?

I posted this picture in the commercial vehicles thread the other day...

These vehicles are pretty cool looking.

Not sure about the internal door components but the inside door handle and the escutcheon (very unique and large) are definitely unique to this vehicle.

BTW, in the group of pictures above the second picture of a front end is a 400A. The delivery is barely visible in the background. This utility vehicle was not graced with a chrome windshield frame.

If I run across the photos I'll post them. It is a long box like unit with a chain and gears inside it, nothing like a common Model A regulator. Bob

the window regulator handle looks like a 32 truck handle in the photo. One would have to compare them side by side to ascertain that is the case.

They are not the same handle although look similar.

Part number for the 255A is BB-339204
Part number for the 32 Truck is 46-702780

Manila Brown was the only Stock color available.
