Also the W18 is about 1/8" longer than the TT10 from the washer to the tip, this is no problem with hitting the piston?
Thanks
Dana

Get some 3Xs. They fit and run perfect.

Straps fit good on my 16's so if the 18's are the same size it will work.

Thanks for the GREAT info, Forever4
I DIDN'T know that the '32 dist was taller. Using the longer straps, with a Model A dist, "might" lessen the chance of spark traveling through #4 track, in the body, from jumping up to #3 strap.
Happened to me on Minerva! Used a fine strand of wire from a braided clothes line & formed a TALL loop to #3, drove her a month that way.
If you study the dist body on modelabasics.com you'll see WHY that's the ONLY place it can jump to another strap.
IF you develop a KOOKY miss, inspect it, running, in the DARK. It "usually" develops a BLACK, FUZZY AREA, where it jumps out, same as you see in CARBON TRACKING in dist caps.
ALSO, check for rotors that may have allowed spark to jump THROUGH it, to the dist shaft. Spark jumping through the rotor, usually develops RAINBOW colored look, up inside the rotor bore.
If you have a SUSPECTED bad one, THROW IT AWAY, rotors are CHEEP!
TIP: When ordering small TROUBLESOME parts, ORDER 2, just as you should do when buying TOILET PARTS ! !
