Default A and B engine match

Hi Guys,
I know this have been asked before, but I have searched and can’t find the answers.
Does a Model A transmission fit on a B engine and visa versa?
Much appreciated.

To attach a Model "A" transmission to a Model "B" engine, you need to modify the Model "B" oil pan, use a Model "A" flywheel housing and a Model "A" bell housing.
