Is the the correct window crank handle for a 1940 Pickup?
Visiting a friend today and he needs new window crank handles for his 1940 Pickup. The handles shown are worn where the diecast hole of the handle meets the steel shaft of the window regulator.
Are these the correct handles? Are reproductions available? He said he could not find any. If not, what are the correct handles and are they available new? Thanks in advance. |

GZ, With my old eyes, your photo appears blurry. I've attached herein a photo of the correct handles. Hopefully, the photo will help you.

Not to hi-jack this thread but...………
The small handle grip part on my '33 comes off from the pin that secures it to the arm. Is there a way to punch spurs in the pin and better secure the handle so the whole thing still rotates freely?

This is a photo of the window crank on my 40 Tonner. If you can zoom in for a closeup you'll see that it has a fluted surface finish - not smooth.
