Carburetor passage way plugs
Does anyone have a diagram showing the location of the 4 passage way plus in a 1931 zenith carburetor?

Re: Carburetor passage way plugs
Look here: http://model-a.org/brass_passage_plugs.html
The site has diagrams of the passages in the top and bottom castings. Hope this helps.

Re: Carburetor passage way plugs
If you remove the plugs, get some old split shot lead (fishing weight). Cut a piece off and plug the hole with it.
Works great. |

I used to have a really good one before my computer crashed and I lost everything, let me see if I can find it again...I'll have to have something to drink to do this

Re: Carburetor passage way plugs
Try to clean the carburetor first without removing the plugs. I have done just that on the carburetor rebuilds I have done.

Re: Carburetor passage way plugs
I received a carb that had some plugs already removed. I was just curious as to where the others were.

Re: Carburetor passage way plugs
I've heard of people threading the holes and using set screws for plugs.
