I wonder about the outcome if the Ford was FWD like the rest. It has been said each 100 pounds weight reduction is good for a tenth in the quarter mile.
The test as run was apples to an orange, GM played that game before too. They “tested” a 389 cu. in. GTO that had a 421 under the hood.
