If it doesn't have a DOT code on it it probably made before 2000.
And then it's just a question of how long before.

Even if they were made before 200 they would still have a code on them but a different code. You can find the DOT date stamped on the sidewall of your tire. For you to get this correct look up DOT tire codes on line.

Code is 3 numbers before 2000 and 4 after. Before has only one number for the year. The other number is for the week. Got Google?

what I have listed is every mark that is on the tire. I know that the tires are older then 1994. When did they start putting dates on tires. I looked up the Patented number and it was applied for in 1951 and given in 1961. So I am not sure if the tires come from that time period

Its best to be safe and buy new tires if history is not known. A blowout OR?, can be costly.

Ken
Replacing them is already on my list. I am just trying to figure out if the tires have been on the car since my grandfather passed away in 1963.

The Pat. no. 2964083 was issued 12/13/1960.
It's possible that they may be that old.
If who ever possessed the car after your grandfather passed didn't put on new tires then they probably are that old.
