It pulls the steering wheel right out of my hand. It's not veering left, it's turning left. It's like there is no right front brake.

Check the ball joints and control arms.

King pins are tight and control arms have no movement.

This came on soon after replacing brake shoes. One of the things that happens after with new shoes is a period of relatively fast wear as each shoe conforms to the diameter and ridges in the drums. Depending on the shoes and drums, this may not occur evenly between wheels. Have you readjusted the brakes on all wheels since this problem showed up? Look closely at the shoes. Are they all showing wear from contact with the drum over the full arc of the shoe and all the way across the lining?

I agree, one side has something going on and I just don’t see it. It’s probably something simple.

I also think that a brake adjustment may be in order.

the left pipe from the M/C is shorter on the left ,farther to travel on the right ,measure your pedal ,if it pumps up you have air in the right side giving a weak brake .

I went out to check it and noticed the pedal has no free play. It only moves about 1/2 inch and brakes are on. I thought there was to be free play. How do I get that back?

The bolt holding the rod to the brake pedal arm may be an eccentric. By turning it the gap can be made shorter or longer. May be you can adjust the gap on the rod.
