"AA" truck cab size?
Is the "AA" truck cab bigger inside than an "A" truck, I'm 6'3" and the only model A I ever sat in was a Tudor, I didn't feel it had that much room. I would like to find a dump truck to restore with my Grandson, btw he is 6'5".

Re: "AA" truck cab size?
I am 6'2" and 220 lbs it was a squeeze on the AA but I cut the seats down for head and back room and I don't wear heavy boots when operating it. After a while I got pretty good at jumping in and tearing off (at least as fast as the high speed gears will let me). Now I don't notice it until someone watches me exit and makes a remark.

Re: "AA" truck cab size?
I'm only 6' and I thought it was too small, I sheared and broke cab corner 6" longer than stock, I used 14 ga c1018 then I replaced the entire floor with 14 ga. For the seat I used a stock ford f150 bench seat and cut 18" out of the center, it is much better than stock and it is adjustable with seat belts.

Same here ('31CCPU) right leg all the way in, slide up onto the seat and then work the left leg in. Sure hope I never have to get in in a hurry.

Re: "AA" truck cab size?
I am 6' 4". I can get into an A with some strategy and time, however driving is dangerous. I have 36" inseam and not room for my legs to move. I would think about extending the cab a bit.

Re: "AA" truck cab size?
I am 5'10" and about 160. Some Model T's and A's I have to get in from the passenger side, messed up foot from a motor cycle accident. I tried the fit in a 31 CC and found even with only a 32 inseam, I get my leg jammed between the door and steering wheel when using the clutch as my ankle does not rotate correctly anymore and the seat is too close to the steering wheel.
Good advice trying one out before you buy. Re-doing the seat has been often done because of fit issues. They have a lot less "room" then a tudor or coupe and no adjustment to the seat except less padding.

Re: "AA" truck cab size?
It's a tight fit. I have a '28 Roadster Pickup.
I'm 6'2" 220lbs. I can get in and out ok but I have no Health Issues. If you have a bad Hip or knee I can see where if would be very difficult. Once inside it's like sitting on a Toilet. Your back will be close to vertical and your legs too. It's ok for reasonable short trips. I doubt I could sit that way for hours at a time though.

Re: "AA" truck cab size?
I'm a '29 AA owner, and 6'2". Yeah, its knee caps in nostrils, but it can be done. These cabs are best for people 5'6" or less.

Re: "AA" truck cab size?
At 6' I did a couple things that helped me in my '29 CC. I replaced the seat with a 3rd row van seat. Seat back is a thinner so your back more and sit lower. Plus the modern foam and stiffer edge support my Gluteal upper leg muscles better on long drives. I keep my clutch pedal adjusted lower too. On the next go round I will shorten my steering column two inches. Dont know if it will help at 6'-2.
