21" Inner tubes ?
I just got two new inner 21" tubes ( 4.50-20/21 ) from Universal Vintage Tire.
I looked for the country of origin, and all I found was "Made in EEC". Have read other posts here commenting on failure of tubes made in Denmark, and I 'm sort of wondering what I have just received... The EEC ( European Economic Community ) covers a lot of territory. ? |

This has been extensively discussed on the AACA Discussion Forum. There were some concerns about tubes marked EEC from the recent past. Most of the vendors should be aware of the concerns and should have eliminated the suspect tubes from their inventory. Current inventory is probably not involved in the problem. It is my understanding that there are no US manufacturers of vintage car tubes anymore. Last edited by MCHinson; 11-19-2010 at 07:59 PM. Reason: typo |

Food, gas, clothing all going up, value of dollar going down, we haven't seen anything yet, IMO.
