Hi Folks, I'm the Activities Director for the Hudson Valley Region of MARC. We are hosting the 2016 MARC National Tour this September, 20-22 in the Newburgh/West Point area of New York. We just had are registration form OK'ed by MARC and I wanted to get it out on the Internet as fast as possible. I have already sent it to most of the regional MARC clubs east of the Mississippi and though it would be a good idea to post the link here. This would allow people more time to look over the meet itinerary and plan their trip to the Hudson Valley. Tom, didn't mean to snub anyone, but I thought it would be a long drive from Minnesota (or west the Mississippi) and chances are not many folks would make want to make that long a trip in a Model A.

Already booked my room, put in for vacation that week, received the tour packet via email, and lined up an enclosed trailer (can't get enough time off to drive the A from Fl to NY and back) .

My wife will attempt to get the same week off.

We lived one county away, just across the Hudson when we were first married and starting our family.

We have our National meet in May. I'll be driving the 3,000 miles to get there in one of my As and then do more on the way back. We'll take the scenic route home. Will be away for 2 months - camper trailer in tow.
They were built to be driven, not put on the mantle.

Hi Al, we tried to book the host hotel online, but the code is not recognized. Is this for call-in reservation only?

HoarseWhisperer: I just called the 4 Points by Sheraton locally and they informed me the group rate is NOT available through their online booking. You'll need to call them directly at 845-567-0567 to make your reservation. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The organizers might want to negotiate an exteuinsion of the discounted room rate as an encouragement for more people to attend. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Just a thought. Waynr

Reservations are confirmed at the hotel. Been practicing towing the A with an enclosed trailer. Gave myself plenty of time to drive up to NY. Confirmed time off with work, All set!!!
