On a 28/29 Closed Cab Pickup, how do you remove the U shaped garnish that goes around the window on the doors?

Also, I need the one for the driver's door. Anybody have an extra one?

Remove the three screws at the top on the inside. Get a 2x4 and a hammer and gently tap it straight up ( with the door all the way open). Tap a bit on eac side so it goes straight. After it is off, remove the screws that hold those two channels in, the you remove the door glass and
Felts together.

The window trim is installed by sliding it down two window slides (one on each side of the door. So, Steve's removal method is the correct process. Note that many times the trim is rusted to the slides. This can be a big problem to get the trim to slide upwards.

I saw your post on Ford Barn. The window trim that came with this after market door. I can not figure out how it is mounted. There are two different lengths. No holes were drilled into the door.
Does trim following the inside channel of the door or the outside out the door?. What you posted was the only picture I have seen.
