What's the story with Y-blocksforever.com?
I've been trying without success for over a month to register at the forums at y-blocksforever.com. The registration page reports "Registration Disabled", and in a nifty white font on a white background suggests I email [email protected] for access. Needless to say, that address comes back as undeliverable from any email account I've tried.
I see activity there, and even a new member who supposedly joined last month. Is it personal? Is it just me? |

I doubt its personal. I've been a member forerver. Was on last night no problems. No idea what's going on with new applications. I'll post a question there about it and see what comes up.

Re: What's the story with Y-blocksforever.com?
There was a response to this question from Ted Eaton this am, another joint member posted it over there. Due to the spammers, they put a verification in place, and something failed to forward it to the approval moderator. Ted’s offered to fix it by using his contact info posted above. Lots of common members between here and there.

No such problem on my end. I use Firefox and never had any problems accessing a web site.

Re: What's the story with Y-blocksforever.com?
I ran into the same problem a couple of weeks back. That's actually how I found this forum; I was trying to find a way to contact the site admin at YBF.
The email ([email protected] posted by Dave Covey) above is the way to get a hold of him. It took him a day or two to get back to me and setup my account there. Ted told me that spambots keep attacking the forum and that he had to disable registration to keep them at bay. |

I also found that sites that I'm already a member on, won't let me in if I'm using VPN.
